DBA 800 Applied Research in BI: Literature Review

What is a Literature Review?

Literature Review is a summary and assessment of the key research on a specific topic. It is not a research study itself, although research studies will often include a literature review. Literature reviews are considered secondary sources because they provide an overview of published research on a topic. They also reflect the relationship between research studies, how one study builds on the findings of an earlier study, as well as what each study contributes to scholarship on the topic.
