For your assignment, you will need to find precedent studies and the resources below will help you with this project. Included are sample searches in Google, MULibrary Search, and Google Scholar. It can be helpful to look at existing precendent studies to get an idea of what your final project should look like.
You will get limited results if you do a keyword search for "precedent studies" in the databases because that term is not just as a subject header or frequently when writing about projects. When researching the different aspects you need for your precedent study you can search for:

Reminder to use phrase searching (putting specific phrases in quotation marks) will get you the most relevant results in the quickest amount of time!
Google Scholar is a great resource for ID students because it is multidisciplinary. Remember to access Google Scholar via the MU Databases so that you are automatically redirected to the full text of the articles you need.

Simple search - remember you have to use reputable sources! You must evaluate every website to ensure the quality of the content - avoid blogs!
Phrase searching example. When you want the database to look for words in a particular order use phrase search by putting the words in quotation marks. This is will return much more relevant results in Google and any other database.
