Use MULibrary Search to look for books on criticism and interpretation of literary works.
To Search by Keyword
To search for literary criticism, type the writer's name and the word criticism in the Advanced search box. For example, “Katherine Porter” and criticism. The Keyword search retrieves words and phrases located anywhere (i.e. in titles, subject headings, authors, publication information, table of contents, etc.).
For additional results, click on a book title that addresses your search terms and look at the Subjects listed in the record. The Subject Headings are a list of predefined terms. For example, Porter, Katherine Anne, 1890-1980--Criticism and interpretation. For some authors you may see a list of numerous headings and you will want to browse through the headings and look at the subdivisions. Click on the subdivisions to view additional titles. For example, Porter, Katherine Anne, 1890-1980--Biography.
