Finding Images: How Do I Find and Use Them: Museum Sites and Fine Art

The internet is not the only way to find images. Many books also contain images that you may use for your papers and projects, as long as they are properly attributed. While the quality of the image may not be correct for all projects, print sources can also help you find images when you need examples of art from a particular artist or movement. 

Try searching:

• Exhibition catalogs
• Surveys of art or artists (often in the oversize collection)- search by artist last name or art movement
