Plunkett is a database that will be useful for finding competitor information, market trends, and industry research.
Step 1: Click on 'Companies & Executives from the main menu.
Step 2: Use the General Search box to search for companies in your product area, for example: handbags, shoes, cosmetics, etc. You could also search by country if you were looking for competitors related your country of choice or by NAIC code if you prefer.
Step 3: Select a company from your search results to learn about by clicking n the name of the company in the 'Company' column of the results chart.
Step 4: Review the company profile information. Also take a look at the 'Industry ranks' section for potential other competitors to review.
