To find substantive book review from Kirkus Reviews, School Library Journal, Horn Book, New York Times Book Review, etc. search in multi-subject databases below. In Academic Search Complete, enter the title in the search box, and limit Source Type to Book Review. For ProQuest Research Library, enter the title in the search box, and limit Document Source to Review.

To Search by Keyword
To search for literary criticism, type the writer's name and the word criticism in the Advanced search box. For example, “Katherine Porter” and criticism. The Keyword search retrieves words and phrases located anywhere (i.e. in titles, subject headings, authors, publication information, table of contents, etc.).
For additional results, click on a book title that addresses your search terms and look at the Subjects listed in the record. The Subject Headings are a list of predefined terms. For example, Porter, Katherine Anne, 1890-1980--Criticism and interpretation. For some authors you may see a list of numerous headings and you will want to browse through the headings and look at the subdivisions. Click on the subdivisions to view additional titles. For example, Porter, Katherine Anne, 1890-1980--Biography.
