An annotated bibliography can help you understand how articles, books, and other sources you've collected fit into your research topic. It can be the basis for a research paper, project, thesis, or dissertation.
The Purdue OWL's Annotated Bibliography page provides information about how to write an annotated bibliography. The Samples page might be useful, too.
